The MyRide Self-Propelled Wheelchair (Fully Featured) is a TGA-registered and certified lightweight aluminium wheelchair designed for user independence, comfort, and safety in everyday use, travel, and rehabilitation across Australia. With a safe working load of 120 kg and a comprehensive set of practical features, this wheelchair is suitable for both temporary recovery and long-term mobility needs.
Flip-back armrests allow safe and convenient side transfers for bed or chair transitions, while removable and folding footrests swing out of the way or detach completely for easy transfers, compact storage, or transport. Anti-tip safety wheels provide rear stabilisation on inclines or during sudden movements — an essential safety feature for new users or amputees. Puncture-proof solid tyres (22″ rear, 7″ front castors) ensure smooth, maintenance-free rides with no risk of flats. The dual braking system includes both user-operated and attendant brakes — lockable and progressive — for full control in any situation. The compact side-folding design folds neatly for storage or transport, and the integrated seat belt ensures lateral and forward safety during movement.
