Description
The Ferno EXL Scoop Stretcher provides superior patient safety and comfort during spinal immobilisation for emergency medical services, ambulance crews, and hospital patient transport across Australia. Its hinged, interlocking ends allow the stretcher halves to join beneath the patient — gently scooping them up and eliminating the need for log-roll manoeuvres, significantly reducing cervical spine movement.
A recessed head section maintains proper cervical alignment, while the oval profile and angled handles provide ergonomic use. The narrow foot-end frame ensures easy handling in confined spaces. Thermally treated X-ray translucent composite material prevents extreme temperature transfer and is fluid-resistant for easy cleaning. Available in four adjustable lengths and folds compactly for storage. Supplied with three restraints.
