The Disposable Lifter Hoist Sling – Medium is a single-use, hygienic patient transfer sling designed to support safe and comfortable lifts in hospitals, aged care facilities, rehabilitation centres, and home care environments across Australia. Manufactured in accordance with AS/NZS ISO 10535:2011, this sling meets the industry standard for hoist lifters and slings, providing caregivers and healthcare professionals with a compliant, reliable solution for patients with limited body control.
Made from soft spunbond polypropylene, the sling is gentle against bare skin while maintaining the strength and durability required for safe patient handling. Integrated head and leg supports provide excellent stability during transfers, while a three-loop support strap system allows precise positioning of leg and head support to suit individual patient needs. Bright-coloured handles and adjusters enhance visibility and make handling easier and safer for caregivers. Compatible with standard yoke-style patient lifters.
The single-use design includes a disintegrating label system that clearly alerts caregivers the sling must not be washed or reused — eliminating cross-contamination risk and supporting strict infection control protocols. Also available in Large.
