The Ferno Vertical Rescue Stretcher is a professional-grade, roll-up patient evacuation system purpose-built for high-angle, confined space, and vertical rescue operations. Lightweight at just 8 kg and compact enough to store in the included Cordura backpack, this versatile rescue stretcher can be rapidly deployed by high-angle rescue teams, industrial emergency responders, and technical rescue operators in the most demanding environments across Australia.
Once deployed, the wrap-around construction becomes rigid through its internal high-density polyethylene support structure, providing a secure, protective enclosure that shields the patient’s limbs and body from further injury during transport and vertical lifting. Constructed from tough 1000D and 1680D Cordura with a polyurethane coating, the stretcher is built to withstand harsh industrial, mining, and rescue environments.
Equipped with multiple carry handles, six lifting slings, and an integral colour-coded full-body restraint system — including padded head restraint, six over-body straps, shoulder and groin straps, and a generous foot strap — the Ferno Vertical Rescue Stretcher provides comprehensive patient immobilisation for safe vertical and horizontal lifting. An optional 6-point lifting bridle (BRB-VRS) is also available. Available with fast delivery across Australia.
