The Healwell Wrist & Hand Soft Splint is designed to keep the hand open and in a neutral position, preventing patients from flexing their fingers and hands while protecting palm skin during recovery. Its through-hand design provides gentle but effective positioning support without fully immobilising the arm and wrist — making it suitable for contracture management and post-injury rehabilitation.
The durable, reusable plastic base frame is covered in soft foam for comfort, and adjustable padded straps ensure a secure, personalised fit for both left and right hands. Two additional palmar rolls (3.8 cm and 4.5 cm) are included for further adjustability, and the water-absorbent, removable cover is machine washable for easy hygiene maintenance in clinical and home care settings across Australia.
