The Laryngectomy & Tracheostomy Protectors (Buchanan Protector) are neck-worn medical devices specifically designed for neck breathers — individuals with a tracheostomy or laryngectomy. Constructed from 100% breathable technical 3-D polyester with a dual-layer microfibre filter, they provide effective filtration of airborne particles down to 2.5 microns, comparable to the natural filtration of the human nose. Heat and moisture retention supports respiratory comfort throughout the day.
Lightweight, soft, and discreet, these protectors feature a non-adhesive tie strap with adjustors for a secure, comfortable fit suitable for most wearers. Washable by gentle hand or machine wash for easy cleaning and hygienic reuse. Available in Navy and White. Supplied in a pack of 10.
