The NIO Infant with Fixation Dressing provides rapid, reliable intraosseous (IO) access for infant patients in emergency situations where vascular access is required for fluid and drug administration. Specifically designed for patients from gestational age 36 weeks (minimum 5lbs / 2.3kg) up to 3 years of age, it incorporates patented Stepped Needle® technology (14G–18G) for graduated penetration and tactile feedback during insertion — trusted by emergency clinicians across Australia.
Sterile, single-use, and requiring no batteries, assembly, or maintenance, the NIO Infant is pocket-sized and ready to deploy in the most demanding emergency settings. The included fixation dressing stabilises the device and prevents dislodgement once IO access is achieved.
