Achieving IO access in approximately 10 seconds, it is designed for EMS, military, and trauma care scenarios where traditional IV access is not possible — making it a critical tool for paramedics, emergency physicians, and tactical medics across Australia.
Built with a reinforced polymer core, the NIO Plus withstands extreme temperatures while remaining lightweight at just 90 g (140 g packaged) — compact enough to store in small medical pouches and tactical kits. A dual-action safety mechanism (cap rotation + simultaneous trigger press) prevents accidental deployment, and the no-exposed-needle design reduces the risk of needlestick injury. Supplied individually packed and fully assembled, ready for immediate use.
