The Snake Bite Indicator Bandage (10 cm x 10.5 m stretched) is a heavyweight conforming bandage purpose-built for use with the Pressure Immobilisation Technique (PIT) — the recommended first aid treatment for all Australian venomous snakes, funnel-web spiders, blue-ringed octopuses, and cone shells. Wider and longer than most crepe or elastic bandages, it provides sufficient length to bandage a large adult leg.
Continuous printed indicators clearly show when the correct level of compression has been achieved, ensuring consistent and reliable application across the entire limb.
