Moving a patient safely shouldn't put the carer at risk. The Turner & Transfer Aid is a purpose-built transfer device that empowers patients who can bear their own weight to actively participate in the transfer process — reducing strain on carers and promoting patient dignity and independence.
The carer positions the device in front of the seated patient, who grasps the handles, places their feet on the non-slip footplate, and pulls themselves to a standing position. A soft knee pad supports and stabilises them throughout. The carer then simply swivels the device toward the destination seat or wheelchair — a smooth, controlled transfer with minimal manual handling.
